Taos County Real Estate Market Reports

This is the Taos real estate market report for the week ending May 10, 2026. Taos County recorded 10 residential home sales and 10 total property closings across all classes. No land, commercial, or multi-use closings appeared in this week’s closed activity view. The market added 27 new listings, showed 66 under-contract listings in the current weekly snapshot, posted 28 price adjustments, and recorded 7 expired listings.

Residential pricing, based on 10 closed home sales, produced a median sale price of $392,500 and an average sale price of $505,000, with prices ranging from $238,000 to $938,000. Median days on market came in at 82.

The more important read is the rolling view. The corrected four-week residential closing count is 36, with a rolling median sale price of $420,000 and 12.9 months of supply based on 463 active residential listings. Absorption improved meaningfully this week, especially in the core county at 9.9 months of supply, while the resort market remains slower at 20.6 months.
